About this activity
Make your own way to Sant'Angelo Bridge which is close to one of the oldest and most distinctive monuments in the entire city, Castel Sant’Angelo. Board the boat for your stylish dinner cruise on the Tiber River in Rome. As your boat slips away from land, sip your welcome cocktail and sample the delicious assorted canapés as you marvel at some of Rome’s famous sights by night. From 2018 season, beside the standard gourmet menu that rotate during the season, we have decided to propose you some special Italian Regional Menus, to let you discover some of the most famous typical recipes coming from Sicily, Umbria, Lazio and Apulia. Take a minute and have a look to the Sicilian's wonderful choice:
Fresh cheese, Sicilian pesto bruschetta, sun-dried tomatoes, Pachino cherry tomatoes, seafood salad in oil
Flan of Anelletti (typical Palermo’s pasta in delicious seasoning with “sarde” fish, wild fennel, sage, pine nut, raisin)
Palermo typical breaded and pan-seared swordfish
Vegetables couscous
Seasonal sliced fruits
Sicilian Cannolo dessert
Now all that you have to do it's to take a seat at your table out on deck or in the lower saloon of the boat (weather dependent), and listen to live musicians playing well-known international hits and dinner music as you admire unparalleled views of Rome’s twinkling skyline. Pass by the great Palace of Justice, Vatican City and the famous St Peter’s Basilica and enjoy a sumptuous, freshly prepared 4-course dinner served by your waiting staff.
Finish your cruise experience with a cool mineral water and a strong Italian coffee. Your cruise concludes back at Sant'Angelo Bridge.

it was a nice cruise and the food and service was very good, but the river itself was not very pretty. the Paris dinner cruise has fantastic things to look at.
For some reason reaching the pick-up point was made a lot difficult by the contact person, because it conflicted with the map location. We were about 5 mins away when we called to get directions and he said we were very far away. Interestingly the landmark of Angels Castle is not mentioned anywhere. The cruise route was not that exciting as everything around was quite dark. Saving grace was the solo live music who did a fairly good job! Food was terrible - Pasta was rubbery, dessert was canned pineapple served in a champagne glass. Not at all recommended! Can spend the same amount much better!
SKIP THIS - COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!!
Bad food! No view! Musician extremely silent and low quality? Truly a disappointing experience!!!!!!
This was a decent trip which we enjoyed, the boat was nice, the staff were friendly and the food was good....but, the menu was very fish heavy, OK for me - I like fish - but I know other travellers were not so enamoured. The music was OK if a little loud for my taste. The biggest problem is that the Tiber is quite narrow and has very high embankments which means you can't actually see a great deal of the city, so its not like a trip on the Danube or the Thames for example. Also beware, there are some steep steps to get to the landing so not ideal if you have mobility issues.
The cruise took about 2 hours although at least an hour of this was stationary underneath a bridge. Not sure whether this was because it was raining and the staff had difficulty releasing the blinds or whether this is normal. This meant that those of us sat on the outside edge of the room were considerably wet through the dining experience. The boat was freezing cold expected as the boat was open so would not advise outside of the summer months. Food was edible, wine was slow in coming. Overall experience was fun - singer was excellent !
