Our tour guide, couldn’t tell you her name because we couldn’t hear her, had an issue with her headset. It was around the neck style so the mic didn’t move with her mouth. So when she turned her head you couldn’t hear her. When “guiding us” through the masses of people She’d state “I’ll be right over here” and never designate where “here” was. To the left, right, by the tree ...?! She was told repeatedly about the mic issue but nothing changed. Though she seemed informative she wasn’t the best speaker. Most of the group was having the same issues, as we talked about it when she’d go ahead and basically leave us behind. Very disappointed!
One of my favorite tours of our trip. It was a lot of walking but so worth it. You really get to experience ancient Rome and our tour guide Inga was fabulous. Group size was perfect. Had plenty of time at each site and Inga was so knowledgeable. Really loved visiting the Forum. The dress code of knees and shoulders covered was not enforced and I wish I knew that because it was very hot. They made people remove hats for the Pantheon but that was it. Buy or take a water bottle and there are places along the way to refill for free.
Our guide was really knowledgable and fun! She had an archeology degree and was amazingly informative,
The guide was knowledgeable and gave us adequate time to rest between stops as it was a very hot day. A lot of walking and using stairs is involved. This tour might not be suitable for the elderly and for small children.
Our guide was fantastic . She was very knowledgeable and passionate. Was very hot and she took her time and found shade when available .
I should give one star, terrible experience, since they asked me to leave in the morning I had booked in and to come later in the afternoon !!!!! to join another group! Some stupid staff made this decision for me which ruined my day schedule (I wanted in the afternoon to go to Villa Borghese). Unbelievably unprofessional.... the only star I give is that they made a bit up with giving me a private group to follow (where the guidance was very professional and friedly) NOT RECOMMENDED... be careful what you book for... they know how to say sorry but they do not professional people
Our guide Stephanie was excellent. Guided us on a very busy and hot day. Very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions. Highly recommend
Great stops. Tour guide was very nice. It was raining, but not the tours fault. A lot of walking so be prepared.
Our tour guide went on and on about things that were not related to the sights that we were seeing. I didn't have a lot of knowledge of these places going into the tour, but I did not leave more any more. We also rushed through the Forum because our tour guide thought it was too hot, but we wanted to look around more. I recommend going on your own, not through this tour.
Despite the summer heat, the tour was amazing with some fascinating information provided by our tour guide Andrade who also patiently answered our kids' many questions during the adventure.
Check in for the tour was a little unorganized but our tour guide Salome (not sure how to spell it!) was great. She was so knowledgeable about the city and truly showed passion for teaching us. We learned alot. It was incredibly hot, but that would be the only thing I would change..go on a more comfortable temperature day!
Our guide, Elida, was very knowledgeable and had a nice sense of humour. Tour went very smoothly with appropriate rest stops as it was quite hot. This was an excellent way to see these sights without having to queue for hours.
Our tour guide was well informed. We were impressed with the small group tour and all we did see. The only improvement for large groups touring is there needs to be more than 1 WC for Men and Women available. That was surprising.
Very physical tour but covered a large area. Impressive sites. Tour guide knew the area and did a great job!
Our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. We wouldn't have wanted to spend our first day of our first trip to Italy! Can't wait to come back.
We saw much more than I expected. The tour was well paced and covered a lot of ground in time and space. Our guide was able to answer every question and was respectful and fun.
We payed a lot of money for a skip the line tour and we got to make a line for an hour and a half!!!! Because of the line, we did not get the whole tour we payed for either. We didn't get to go to the Forum or the Piazza Navona. I felt cheated and scammed.
Our guide Joanne was brilliant and really knew her stuff. It was an extremely interesting couple of hours - lots of walking so do need to be able to stay on your feet.
