Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Piazza Navona, 00186 Rome Italy

Jumping ahead in history, you’ll be treated to a delicious gelato as you stroll through streets made famous by films like “Roman Holiday”, stopping at the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona for a few glamorous photo ops

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Sistine Chapel, Citta del Vaticano 1, 00120 Vatican City Italy

The day ends contemplating Michelangelo’s frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. From there you can choose between extending your stay in the chapel and the Vatican Museums, or skip the lines and enter St. Peter’s Basilica directly from the Sistine Chapel. We recommend that you follow your guide since it will save you a walk of 30 - 40 minutes and, during busy times, over an hour of waiting in line.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Trevi, 00187 Rome Italy

Jumping ahead in history, you’ll be treated to a delicious gelato as you stroll through streets made famous by films like “Roman Holiday”, stopping at the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona for a few glamorous photo ops

Duration: 15 minutes

Pass By: Piazza Venezia, 00187 Rome Italy

Piazza Venezia

Stop At: Vatican Museums, Viale Vaticano, 00120 Vatican City Italy

Our specially-curated Vatican tour highlights the best works in the huge (some might say “overwhelming”) collections and give you a broad understanding and appreciation of what you’re seeing. Along the way we’ll take in the sculpture galleries and the world-famous ‘Laocoön Group’.

Duration: 40 minutes

Pass By: St. Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro), Vatican City Italy

St. Peter's Square

Stop At: Colosseum, Piazza del Colosseo, 00184 Rome Italy

We start at the Colosseum, bypassing the long lines with all-inclusive tickets that bring you straight into the ancient world’s greatest sports arena. Your guide will give you the harrowing tails of gladiators and martyrs that have made the Colosseum famous and also explain their political and social importance to ancient Romans.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pantheon, Piazza della Rotonda, 00186 Rome Italy

No walk through ancient Rome is complete without stepping into the Pantheon. This nearly 2,000-year-old building has the largest un-reinforced concrete dome in the world. As you goggle up at it from inside, you’ll hear the story of how it was built and why it has inspired so many other buildings, from St. Peter’s Basilica to the U.S. Capitol Building.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: St. Peter's Basilica, Piazza di San Pietro, 00120 Vatican City Italy

Your tour will end in St. Peter's Basilica where you will have skip the line entrance to get inside, though there is no guided explanation inside the church.

Duration: 20 minutes

Pass By: Roman Forum, Piazza Santa Maria Nova, 53, 00186 Rome Italy

Next you’ll stroll over to the Roman Forum to learn how it functioned as the beating heart of Rome’s all-encompassing empire. Instead of slogging through the crowds inside the Forum (we don’t have much time, after all!) your guide will lead you to a stunning overlook.

Pass By: Piazza Del Risorgimento, Rome Italy

Pass By: Walks of Italy, 00192 Vatican City Italy

Tour was great. You need the "skip the line" tour. It is worth it!! I went during August, so it was hot, but just bring water and comfortable walking shoes.

Informative tour for those who may only have one full day in Rome; but be prepared to walk all day! Extremely hot when we toured so lots of sweating and hydration is a must.

It was raining and cold when we participated the tour on April 29. The program was good and well organized but I think they should pay attention to the weather and be prepared more when it is bad. The guide was too concentrated on the content to take care of total confort of the costomers. Bad weather is not their fault but they should offer umbrellas or ponchos to prevent their costomers get soaked when it is heavily rain. I don't think it is worth to the cost in total.

Our tour guide, Ettiore (? he said like "Hector") was absolutely incredible. It rained during our walking tour from start to finish, but it did not dampen his spirit. He was exceedingly knowledgeable, whitty, funny, and kept the group on task without being pushy. The sites were magnificent, and the experience was made special by our guide's remarkable knowledge of the cultural, political, and personal history of involved persons from antiquity pertaining to each location. Seeing the city in this way was fantastic - a real treat, and we highly recommend this service. If you are deciding whether or not to book this tour, do it - it was worth every cent. Plenty of opportunities for photos, wonderful sites from ancient Rome and the Vatican, phenomenal guide, and good gelato. TIPS: 1.) Wear comfortable walking shoes. 2.) Pack water and light snacks. 3.) Take an umbrella or poncho and spare socks if there may be rain.

This was an amazing tour! Our guide was very versed in history. When she spoke she painted a picture in your mind as to how life was like 2,500 years ago. She brought a notebook with her so that she could show you how the Colosseum would have looked. She had an art degree and was very knowledgeable about the artwork in the Vatican. It was hot and I was grateful to walk right up front and not have to wait three hours in line to get into the Vatican. On the way from the Colosseum to the Vatican she pointed out other historical buildings and gave history on those as well. This was excellent money spent!!!! Highly recommend this tour!
