Summer Day in Ranua Zoo, Husky Farm and Reindeer Farm

There are over 200 species of wild animals living in the Arctic and you can meet as many as you’d like! The Ranua Zoo is one of the best zoos in Lapland and your trip includes a visit to the reindeer and husky farms.

The Ranua zoo has large polar bears, moose, snow foxes, owls, wolfs and even a lynx. As part of the activity, you will be visiting the only zoo in the Arctic region and learning from the guide about their habitats and the history of the Arctic region.

After the zoo, we will head to the reindeer farm. You may feed and take pictures with the reindeer. The trip ends in the husky farm, where depending on the season you will have the chance to ride on a sled through the forest.
