Day 1:
8:30 Your private fully licensed guide and professional driver of a comfortable air conditioned vehicle will greet you at passport immigration control next to your ship.
8:30 -9:30You will be taken for a CITY OVERVIEW TOUR. You will be able to see and take pictures of the most famous and beautiful sights of St. Petersburg center, get acquainted with the history of the city and the Romanov family.
9:30-10:30Then set off for a JOURNEY TO PUSHKIN (TZARSKOE SELO) - one of St. Petersburg's suburbs within an hour drive from the city center.
10:30-12:30 Visit former Tsars' summer residence - Catherine's Palace including the famous Amber Room - the 8th "wonder" of the World and Catherine's Park.
12:30 -13:00 Have free time to have lunch in one of the local cafes (included).
14:00-15:30PETERHOF TOUR - Another summer residence of Russian emperors. You will see the Upper Garden which resembles Versailles in its planning and, of course, the Lower Park with its incomparable Fountains.
On the way back to St. Petersburg you will have a chance to see the "not so touristy" St. Petersburg and to have a short METRO TRIP the interiors recall palaces not subways.
17:30 Return to the ship.
Day 2:
8:00 Your private fully licensed guide and professional driver of a comfortable air conditioned vehicle will greet you at passport immigration control next to your ship.
9:00-10:00 PRIVATE CANAL CRUISE along rivers and canals of the "Venice of the North". Panoramic view of the PETER and PAUL FORTRESS.
10:30-11:15 Enjoy the beauty of SAVIOR ON THE SPILT BLOOD CATHEDRAL, which startles visitors with its mighty size, multicoloured "onion" domes, magnitude of its décor. The interior has the largest surface in the world covered with mosaics created to depict religious subjects.
11:15-12:00
12 00 - 12 40 Have free time to have lunch in one of the local cafes (own expense).
13:00-15:00 Visit the Hermitage Museum – Includes the 4 buildings of this ensemble: the Winter Palace, the small Hermitage, the New Hermitage, and the Old Hermitage. Enjoy art collections with over three million works of art, the spectacular state and private rooms.
15:30 -16:15 ST. ISAAC'S CATHEDRAL TOUR The dome is gilded with 100 kilograms of gold. St. Isaac's is ranked as number one in the world for the richness of its interior decoration.

We quite simply had an amazing tour. Our guide and driver were the best and quickly made alterations to suit the itinerary to make the most of the warm weather. From the canal ride, the gorgeous palaces (no queuing), the underground ride and eating traditional Russian lunches both days - it was definitely the best way to get a taste of this wonderful country. We would highly recommend this tour.
This is the way to visit st petersburg. Tour guide was excellent and the tours were very well done. I will always look to Viator for tours in the future.
Our 2 days in Saint Petersburg iwere fabulous! The city has very rich history, beautiful architecture and incredible cultural heritage. Our guide Svetlana from Ludmila tours did her best to help us to enjoy maximum of Saint Petersburg for such a short time . The most special for us was the tour to the Hermitage. The company booked special entrance to the museum. It was a surprise for us but what a surprise!!! We also did very pleasant trip to the suburbs of Saint Petersburg to visit former summer residences of royal family. Our driver Boris was very professional, we felt safe in his car which was very important. We have heard that Russian drivers are crazy that is defiantly not about Boris he is top professional. By the way Ludmila from Ludmila tours is a real person. She greeted us and her other tourists in the sea terminal in the morning of the second day. She appeared to be very pleasant. She and her great team guide Svetlana and driver Boris did our journey unforgettable.
Our tour guide Elaina was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. Tour was well organized.
I must admit we were slightly apprehensive at first, but passing through Russian customs with no problems and then meeting Ludmila put us all at ease! Anna, our guide, was a delight she was punctual and has a terrific demeanour with not only us but also with other tour guides and groups, her knowledge and obvious pride in her country came through constantly, as did her fantastic breadth of knowledge all through the two days. Thank you also for organising the wonderful Faberge Tour where we were chaperoned by Sonia who we all agreed was a delightful young lady and like Anna, very proud of her country. She patiently made sure that everything was in order and even looked after our bags which was much appreciated. Our driver Anastasia hopefully correct spelling was really helpful and competent in negotiating the traffic and liaising with Anna for drop offs and pickups etc.
Anna was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and open to discussing life in St. Petersburg and Russia. She took us to local markets so we could see daily life as well as all the highlights of St. Petersburg. I highly recommend this tour!
