I want to say a big thank you for this great time in Saint Petersburg. Anastasia, the guide, was amazing. Very kind and friendly at all times. I learned so much about the city and was delighted to spend time in such a wonderful company.
I booked this tour with Viator and City Break Tours was the local company who handled the tour for us. It was magnificent. we saw all the sights... Peterhoff, the Hermitage, the spilled blood cathedral, took a subway ride and a canal cruise... the guide was fluent in English and friendly. she helped us to buy some souvenirs from the street when they only accepted roubles and we did not have any... I will book again with viator. Thank you city break!
That was a fantastic tour. At first, I was anxious about the blanket visa but the company handled it sufficiently. They issued the tour tickets that must be shown at the passport control and upon disembarkation it went really easy. On the second day of the tour, the customs did not take any time at all. The guide was interesting, energetic and with an excellent English. All in all very satisfied with the tour at this price.
While we covered quite a bit of the "Best of St. Petersburg" in a relaxing way, Alena made this a FANTASTIC tour. We had 12 folks the first day and 9 the second and saw more than I had imagined we would. Alena took us to what she (and her company) thought was the best of the best and we enjoyed it! City Break I think is the name of the subcontracted company. Quite a good deal!
The tour was extremely interesting and the highlight of the cruise. Our guide Nadia was great, knowledgeable, and all you could ask for as our leader.
I was happy with our 2 day St Petersburg tour. The guide was knowledgeable and informative. The order of the tour differed from the website itinerary but this was not a problem. The bus on day one had a problem with the air conditioning but we had a much better bus on day two. My biggest complaint concerned lunch on day one. We were taken to a restaurant in a remote area which was basically the only place we could eat. I would have liked to be taken to a location where we had several options.
It was very long two days but very informative. Our driver Sergr and tour host Elena were fabulous. Always there on time and very attentive to questions. Thanks to both of you
This was a 2 day tour for a party of 9. Efficient pick ups from the Cruise ship and a guided tour on a minibus by the excellent, and very knowledgable, Ksenia. No tickets available for Catherine Palace, we were advised in advance, but otherwise we got in as much as was possible in the time allowed. No problems whatsoever with immigration, would thoroughly recommend.
Helena was our tour guide for both days in St.Petersburg and she was absolutely FANTASTIC. She was able to give us so much information and detail in all the places we visited. She spoke excellent English and was so nice and friendly. We will definitely book with Viator again in the future for our sightseeing. Full marks to all concerned.
Our guide Tatiana met us in the port terminal with a friendly smile to start our two day tour. She was knowledgeable courteous and helpful always, the tour was well organized and enjoyable for every one. The boat trip was splendid. thank you Tatiana thank you dimitry :) With my best wishes for you and your company city break tours Stewart and Angela
We (a party of 4 from NZ) used the services of Viator and their local agent City Break Tours in St Petersburg for 2 days local tour when our cruise ship docked in St Petersburg. We were very impressed with their service which was professional, warm and welcoming. Our local guide was a young lady who knew the city well and made our visit both informative, educational and enjoyable. She was competent in English and this was helpful. She was punctual and accomodated our requests. We will certainly recommend Viator to our family and friends when they wish to tour overseas. Regards. Anthony Raj
We had a wonderful 2 day tour of all of the greatest St Petersburg has to offer. Our guide Alania was perfect. she was so knowledgeable and her english was perfect. Our driver Alexei was also great and always in the right place at the right time. We saw so much and were absolutely shattered at the end of each day but it was so woth it. Thankyou Alania and Alexei
Being home in Vienna now we look back to 2 wonderful days in Saint Petersburg. Allready in advance to our trip to Russia Olga and Polina informed us about all details and answered all our questions in a very friendly and competent way. In Petersburg Anna on saturday and Ksenia on sunday were the best guides ever. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality!!! You all made our trip very special! Manfred and Friends
We took the two tour of St. Petersburg. It was a great tour. Our tour guide Aksana and our driver Constantine reviewed the weather and events and planned our trip accordingly. We were able to see so much in two days, We would get dropped off near the entrances and picked up in different locations which made things very simple and no waiting... I already was making recommendations to a neighbor planning to go on the same cruise we did... We really liked that she choose to bring us to real Russian restaurants for lunch ( we had to pay for our lunch), but were able to taste some food and see the sights... Perfect two days.
This 2 day trip was fantastic, Anna our lovely guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Met us after passport control and there was 11 of us on the 1st day and 13 on the 2nd day. Saw all the sights you need to see in St Petersburg with no queues and Anna guided us around all the sites with excellent knowledge and expertise in her very good clear English. Cannot recommend this trip enough.
During this tour we saw every sight mentioned in the program and even much more than that. The metro of St Petersburg was one of the most surprising stops on the way as I had never expected it to be such a beautiful place to visit. Our guide Maria was very friendly and professional plus spoke excellent English. The time was given for lunch in local cafes. Maria recommended us some traditional dishes to taste eg blini (Russian pancakes) and borsh soup which was delicious and inexpensive. Having headsets for the group was also an excellent idea so that we could hear the guide at all times. This tour definitely deserves 5 stars!
Booking with a local tour company was our best choice. We had direct communication with them and were able to ask many questions prior taking the cruise. It appeared to be very easy to disembark with their vouchers. The tour itself was amazing and we are very thankful to our guide for showing us the city and making us familiar with the Russian culture. We were also lucky to have great travel companions on the tour.
