About this activity

You will meet the tour leader in the hotel lobby and head to the train station to take a high-speed train called Sapsan to Moscow. The journey will take you about 3,5-4 hours. Having spent all day in the city center of Moscow accompanied by your personal tour leader and a local guide, you will catch a train back to St Petersburg and return to the cruise ship.

An approximate itinerary of your one-day trip to Moscow:

6:00 am - Meeting in the port, transfer to the train station

6:50-11:00 pm -

High-speed train to Moscow

11:00-12:00 pm -

Free time on the Red Square, shopping

12:00-1:00 pm - Lunch in a local restaurant (not included)

1:00-3:00 pm -

Tour of the Kremlin grounds and the Cathedrals

3:00-6:00 pm -

City tour with photo stops

6:00-6:30 pm - Break for coffee and snacks

6:30-7:00 pm - Metro tour on the way to the train station

7:30-11:30 pm -

High-speed train to St Petersburg

11:30-12:00 am - Transfer to the cruise ship

The order of the sightseeing may change depending on traffic and museum opening hours. On Thursday, the Kremlin is closed and the visit will be replaced with a tour of the Tretyakov Gallery.
