About this activity

A company representative will be waiting for you in the cruise terminal right after the passport control. You will be transferred from the cruise port to the train station to take a high-speed train called Sapsan to Moscow. The journey will take you about 3,5-4 hours. Having spent all day in the city center of Moscow accompanied by your personal tour leader and a local guide, you will catch a train back to St Petersburg and return to the cruise ship. Here is an approximate itinerary of your 2-day shore excursion:

Day 1 (16,5 hours):

7:00-7:30 am - Meeting in the port, transfer to the train station

8:00-12:00 pm - High-speed train to Moscow

12:00-1:00 pm - Lunch in a local restaurant (included)

1:00-3:00 pm - Tour of the Kremlin grounds and the Cathedrals

3:00-4:00 pm - Free time on the Red Square, shopping

4:00-7:00 pm - City tour with photo stops

7:30-11:30 pm - High-speed train to St Petersburg

11:30-12:00 am - Transfer to the cruise ship

Day 2 (9 hours)

8:00 am - Meeting at the port terminal

8:00 - 9:00 am - City tour with picture stops

9:00 - 10:00 am - Transfer to Peterhof with a short subway ride

10:00 - 11:30 am - Tour of the Lower Gardens of Peterhof

11:30 - 12:30 pm - Transfer back to St Petersburg

12:30 - 2:30 pm - Excursion to the Hermitage Museum (skip-the-line entry)

2:30 - 3:00 pm - Inside visit of the Church on the Spilled Blood

3:00 - 4:30 pm - Sightseeing boat trip on the rivers and canals of St Petersburg

5:00pm - Return back to the cruise ship

The actual starting and ending time will be adjusted in accordance with cruise ship's schedule. The order of the sightseeing may change depending on traffic and museum opening hours. Please note, at the time of booking each cruise ship passenger is required to provide his passport data in order to obtain the tour ticket, which allows entering Russia visa-free. The tour ticket (substitute for visa) will be sent to you via e-mail. Children aged 5 and under are not permitted on this tour.
