About this activity

Your private tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel holding a sign with your name on. Afterwards you will discuss what you will going to see. You can then set off for your tour and let your guide fill you in with all information possible.

As much as you can decide what you want to see, here are some highlights that you should not miss: Church on the Spilled Blood, St Isaac's cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress, Hermitage, Yusupov palace, Russian Museum, Faberge Museum, Alexander-Nevsky Lavra, River and Canal tour and others. If you want, you can spend your entire day in Hermitage, or visiting Imperial residences outside of St Petersburg - like Catherine's palace and park, Pavlovsk palace and park, Peterhof palace and park or Gatchina castle and park. You will end your tour at a location of your choosing.

The tour is NOT suitable for cruise ship passengers. The cruise port is located far from the city center. If you would like to book, you need to pay $100 for visa-free paperwork to your guide upon arrival in cash + taxi services for your guide and yourself, as the nearest subway station is located within half an hour walk from the port + buses come very unregularly to the port. VERY FEW taxi companies are allowed to enter the port's territory

My personal guide, Nadya, was absolutely incredible. I can't say enough for her knowledge, her personality, her professionalism, and her spirit. Her goal that day was to see that everything I had requested, we got done. I wanted to get my grandson a World Cup soccer jersey and she exhausted every avenue Touring St. Petersburg's underground was full of surprises at the beauty down there. Nadya was a wealth of information on its history. My day spent with her ranked at the top of my list for this trip to St. Petersburg.

We had little time in St.Petersburg and wanted to make the most of it. Elena was great throughout this whole experience. We had arranged a schedule with Ulko Tours before our trip but Elena was flexible and made us experience things that were not on our original plan delicious donuts!!!. Elena is well spoken, knowledgeable and interesting, which made spending a day with her even more interesting. Since we did not visit the Hermitage with her on that day, she even helped us plan our visit with a map/route of the best art pieces and rooms to see. A highly recommended private tour and we would definitely book again should we visit St.Petersburg again.
