Day 1: Hiking Acaime - The Cocora Valley
Stop At: Valle del Cocora, Salento Colombia
You’ll rise into a unique journey into high elevations, where you’ll encounter a sanctuary of hummingbirds, enjoy a drink, typical to the region, ascend to greater heights and enjoy a well-deserved treat. You will be reaching the height of 2,860m / 9,383ft (so you’ll need a good jacket or sweater)
After a short break, you’ll proceed to descend through the surrounding farmlands, walking under the tallest wax palm trees on the planet. Pausing only for photos and to simply stare at these amazing trees.

Day 2: Nature Walk and Bird Watching - Fauna and Flora Sanctuary
Stop At: Otún Quimbaya, Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia
It will be an adventure through The Fauna and Flora Sanctuary of Otún Quimbaya. During your exploration of this area you will experience a sub-Andean forest, wonderful waterfalls, listen to and discover some of the 330 species of birds, and search the treetops for the local howler monkeys.
