Itinerary

This riding tour will last around 3 hours and take us past banana and coffee plantations, lulu farms, and green pastures. In the background you will be able to see the Andes mountains of the Cordillera Central and also Barbas Breman national park. Colombia has the highest biodiversity of species in the world. We will tell you about the local wildlife along the way.

We will introduce you to our beautiful horses and partner you with the most suitable horse matched for your ability. We have horses suitable for complete beginners and also experienced riders. Together we will tack the horses up (fit their bridles and saddles) and head out together all local tracks through the incredible coffee mountain landscape.

Come and ride with us and rest assured that your trusty steed is happy, healthy, fit and enjoying life.

Our horses receive the best hay, concentrate food, vetenary care, 5 acres to roam during the day with a dry, warm and clean stable at night and are shod (their feet trimmed) by expert farriers. They are our pride and joy and are treated like Kings and Queens. Our Horse Farm and Hostel is only 2km (a 7 minute drive) from the centre of Filandia.
