Gastronomy in Bahia

The itinerary depends on the day or when we will start the tour, but usually we visit a local market and them start exploring the most local areas in towns.

We will start driving to a local market, with local fruits and spices of Bahia. Usually in the market it is also possible to see a bit of local life and most of the time we can have already our first gastronomy experience there (have you paid less than US$ 0.50 for a coconut water? in Bahia it is possible)

Them we will start visiting some local areas with the most amazing local food: lambreta, pititinga, arrumadinho, escondidinho, etc. And why not try the most incredible drinks (juices, caipirinhas, caipiroskas) and local beer. We will stop at least in 3 places for the gastronomy experience.

I love street food, so when it is possible we will add a street food experience.

I usually suggest to start the tour in the morning (at around 10:30 am), so we will be able to have a better experience in the market and local areas.
