This was a nice way to see Salzburg. We had a beautiful day and it was worth the extra money to board the boat early. Very nice.
Hellbrunn Palace is great a lot of fun. I recommend it. The boat trip was fine. Only complaint was the size of the group for the tour at the palace. It was much too large to easily hear the guide. It seemed that groups were combined since we were probably a little bit late arriving. The bus driver was very kind to assist a disabled person in making the tour in a wheelchair. Expect to be surprised and maybe get a little wet that's the fun of it.
Our British boat captain and bus driver was delightful. The outdoor tour of Hellbrunn was very interesting, to say the least! My father had seen this before 64 years ago and was so eager to show me things inside the house. He was terribly disappointed that it was all gone.
The boat trip was fine with a fun commentary from the captain. The Trick fountains at Hellbrunn were hilarious but there was no time to go round the Palace. You need at least another hour to make the trip a great experience.
The boat trip is too short. Maybe because we did only one way. The rest of the group who took only a boat tour probably enjoyed the ride better. The Palace is magical though. Really worth visiting.
