Afterward, your journey will take you on scenic route to the Obersalzberg Region. Dive deeper into the area's history with a visit to the Obersalzberg and the Berghof ruins. The Berghof, located at 3000 ft elevation, was Hitler’s former mountain residence at the Obersalzberg.

From the Obersalzberg you will access the Eagle's Nest with special busses and elevator. You will have 2 hours at the Eagle's Nest. Take a stroll to the very close summit Kehlstein to overlook the picturesque Bavarian and Austrian Alps.
From April 1st 2019 until about May 10th 2019 (depends on the snow conditions of the year), the Eagle's Nest direct access road is closed, alternatively we offer to visit the Rossfeld summit instead. From this vantage point, soak in panoramic views of the stunning Austrian and Bavarian Alps and the nearby Eagle's Nest. Feel free to choose this option also when Eagle's Nest is opened if you prefer a much less crowded, more local site than the Eagle's Nest.

Returning at the Obersalzberg your journey continues to the castle of Fuschl loacated in the beautiful Salzburg Lake District. Capture a picture of the castle of Fuschl with the emerald-green Lake Fuschlsee as its backdrop, before heading on to St. Gilgen with Lake Wolfgang, the next photo stop.
