Title says it all. Except we never saw any bears
Overall a fantastic experience! We had Daniel as our guide and he was honestly brilliant. He had been to Yosemite a fair few times and knew all the good spots. Despite having been here before, he was always excited about sights and made it a really fun and special trip. Thanks again Daniel!
Our guide was friendly and informative. I was using a cane for a bad knee and she showed me every consideration.
This trip is definitely worth it. Yosemite is stunning and the itinerary allowed two full days of sightseeing and hiking. We were given plenty of information on options for hikes within the Valley. Our guide Matt was knowledgeable, pleasant and a safe, smooth driver. An added bonus was the playlist in the van (it wasn't too loud though). Passengers with hearing problems or difficulty understanding English would be better sitting near the front as there's no microphone for the commentary. Take plenty of water if it's hot as some of the stops of day 1 have no running water
It was incredible experience in awesome nature with a nice guide. She customized the tour depend on participants' needs.
If I could give this tour six stars, I would. The park is spectacular. The ride was comfortable. I give a lot of the credit to our tour guide, Roark, who was knowledgeable, friendly and sensitive to the needs of those of us on the tour. If you have ever been to Yosemite, you know there are no words to sufficiently describe its majesty. With only two days, this tour captured its wonders.
Our family of four just returned from the two-day tour of Yosemite. Our guide Emma was very knowledgeable, organized, and friendly. There was a lot of traffic coming into the park, but she made sure that we were able to experience many beautiful sights. The overnight at the lodge was great! Beauty surrounds you on this trip. Just amazing!
The guide was nice however the trip felt a bit....nothing. there was no enthusiasm about what we were seeing. I felt like after 2 days I hadn't really done much there at all.
It was raining very heavy when we did the trip and we weren't prepared for that. Our tour guide is very prepared though. It would be nice if the tour company advised us on clothing requirements, e.g. extra set of clothes/shoes for changing due to weather condition, bring a rain jacket, wear rain pants etc. Yosemite national park gift shop doesn't sell rain jackets we found it in the hotel at night but was soaking and freezing for day 1. The company insists on only taking small overnight bag but the van has more than enough space for bigger bags and we technically need 2-3 sets of clothes/layers due to the weather condition. We rang the company for confirmation prior and they could have advised us taking rain jackets/clothes etc. The tour would be a lot more enjoyable if we didn't have to wear wet clothes in freezing tempature for a day.
Exciting tour molly was a great guide provided for many memorable photo experiences the lodging was good one of our memersble experiences
I would like to start by saying this tour was awesome. Yosemite is absolutely gorgeous. Spending 2 days there is the way to go. What made this tour standout was our driver/guide Chris. Chris was energetic and super positive. He not only showed us the sights, but he always joined in and offered us many other experiences that we never would have done on our own. Like hiking to the top of the mist trail, swimming in an alpine lake, climbing to the top of a dome, frisbee tossing, and a new thing called slack lining. And wherever he took us, the sights were awesome. This tour is a must see and Chris is a must have guide! Thanks, Chris, for the memories!!
Scratch one more off our bucket list! Trip was event fulfilled and informational packed fun all and a two day trip...well-organized, with great personal service! our driver/guide Mitch stayed with us the whole trip. He didn’t just dump her us off to be our own like past trips we have taken. Would highly recommend!
It is very difficult to be disappointed in seeing Yosemite for the first time. The park is magnificent and the sights are second to none. Even though I do my homework before I take a trip like this I had no idea what trails were available to us and where I should be going after I was dropped off. My husband and I were very disappointed with this tour because our tour guide Lauren did not give enough direction or seem to know anymore than her way around the park. When asked which mountain was which she responded, I don't know. When asked about what kind of trees some were, I don't know. We paid a lot of money for this tour and although Lauren knew her way around I felt like she needed to give us much more direction and information. We were unable to get the Yosemite Lodge when we booked and the Cedar Lodge was fine and quite out of the way and had no internet, no free coffee. Whenever she dropped us off she told us to ask if we had any questions about which trail we might want to do and quite honestly we did not even know what trails were out there. I would have liked this trip a lot more if Lauren had given us more direction. She was very pleasant and tried to please everyone in our group but was lacking in knowledge and direction which we have become accustomed to with other Viator tours.
Perfect weekend trip. Our tour guide Sarah was excellent and made sure we saw all the highlights. We had a very clear day and were able to see for miles. Only downside was not being able to get a room in Yosemite and having the extra travel of leaving park for Cedar Lodge. Overall wonderful trip with a very nice group
