this is a must in san fran, and this is a reasonable price for both activities. Just remember to print out the coupons

Alcatraz was quite interesting and fascinating. It was great to get the first boat in the morning with everything gradually coming out of the fog. San Francisco can only be explored by bicycle since traffic is heavy and it is to far to walk everything. It is an outstanding experience to ride through Fisherman's Dwarf along the ocean and finally over Golden Gate Bridge.

Alcatraz is a must do when in San Fran but this is not the sensible way to do it. Book early directly with the ferry company! With this package you don't control your day - they let you know your ferry time the day before and unless you are on the first or last ferry of the day it is almost impossible to have time to use the bikes. We had a 10:30am ferry and were back at th wharf at 1pm. We could have skipped lunch but by the time you have had lunch its barely worth messing with the bikes that have to be returned by 5pm.

We were so delighted to get a last minute booking to Alcatraz as it seemed to be sold out elsewhere! Communication was good and viator accommodated a change we asked for! Alcatraz is well worth a visit and recommend the talks during the day as well as audio!

I purchased this package with Alcatraz and 1 day bike rental after another Big Bus tour that I wanted was sold out for the dates. The prices of each tour was the same although the Big Bus tour takes you to all of the tourist spots in San Francisco and you can hop on and off as you please. I had to get this one because we only had a certain amount of time to do everything and I didn’t want to wait and find out that Alcatraz was sold out that day. All in all everything went smooth and we all had a great time but the price was 60% more than just buying the tickets when we got there. Considering what the package comes with it’s way too expensive but locking in my dates to assure we could see Alcatraz was a necessity! I will look at this experience through my glass is half full lenses!
