Alcatraz reservations are first come first serve, all reservations are finalized (4) days prior to your departure date.
You must provide first and last names, along with ages of all passengers to confirm your reservation. If for any reason you do not provide this information within the window of time provided, your Alcatraz tour will be forfeited.
Date changes are not permitted once confirmation is received
Your Alcatraz vouchers / departure time will be available for pick up at 478 Post Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 up to 72-hours prior to your departure date. You are not required to pickup your Alcatraz vouchers prior to your tour departure time, they will be given to you at time of check-in on the date of your tour.
The Alcatraz portion usually takes 2.5 hours to complete, with its audio tour consisting of approximately 45 minutes. You are advised to inquire on your arrival to the island as to what time the next guided tour will begin. There is no restriction on the amount of time you spend on the Island. The ferry boat service departs Alcatraz every 30 minutes and you can disembark at your own leisure.

We were supposed to have two hours in Sausilito, but only had an hour to grab lunch. Would have liked the two hours as promised; to walk the town. I believe you need to spend a little more time in Muir Woods. Spent too much time in traffic getting out of the city (San Francisco). If you have time; do your own tour of Muir Woods. We felt rushed. Our guide was Joe, and he was very knowledgeable. Alcatraz was excellent and there is no rush to go through tour.

This was not my first choice of things to do. But, after experiencing this. I am so happy I did it! Very interesting. Loved the audio tour the best. Recommend you visit this place. So much history.

Antonio was our tour guide. Super fun guy and full of facts and knowledge. Went out of the way to make it fun. Alcatraz was so cool. Audio tour was great!

This was a very interesting trip. The trip to Alcatraz was scheduled for 8.45 so when we arrived there were very few people there. This meant you could see everything clearly. The free audio tour is fantastic. The muir wood and Sausalito trip did not start until 3pm. The trees in muir wood are majestic. The little town of Sausalito is beautiful.

Viator oversells this tour-my children and I were not able to take the tour at all. Very disappointing-I will NEVER use their services again.

I already submitted a review , stating that we booked this trip in May. We were leaving Tues. at 11:35 PM for Newark. The company changed the schedule on Aug. 3. We felt that this was wrong. Our tour was over on Sunday Aug.5, EVE, Therefore , Mon was ideal. for an all day tour. Luckily, we had the red eye flight. We liked our driver, Joann.
