My wife and I went on the Ferry Building Food Tour while on our 10 year wedding anniversary trip to San Francisco. Our tour guide Travis was incredible! He was a former cheese monger at the Cowgirl Creamery (which is a stop on the tour) so he had a lot of personal experience and knowledge that he shared with us. The food was delicious and we were stuffed by the end of the tour. As an added bonus, he took us to the top floor so we could look down on all the shops. If you book this tour, hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Travis as your guide!

We went as a family of 4 and absolutely loved it. Our tour guide was Tori, she is very knowledgeable both about food and the local history. Lots of great food to try, we certainly didn’t go home hungry. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We thought that the food on this tour was fine, but the Ferry Plaza was so crowded and noisy on the day that we went, that we could barely hear what our tour guide was saying. The information on the tour was about the stores and the owners - which to be honest, wasn't very exciting or interesting to an out-of-towner. We would've rather heard about the history of the area we were in, or even the history of the food scene in San Francisco.

Quinn was the best guide. His interest and personal appreciation of each vendor made the tour such fun! There were only three of us on the tour so it was very low key and individualized. I would call this a don't miss if you have already seen the major tour stops.

Sophia was a fantastic guide in the food market and ferry building. Bring your appetite, you will have a great 2 hour tour. We will do this again on our next trip to S.F.

Great tour! Excellent, knowledgeable guide. My only complaint is that there was so much food. Lots of samples, too large. Guide was very accommodating about me being vegetarian.
