Our destination is the Mission District. You've eaten Dim Sum in Chinatown, pasta in North Beach, and crab in Fisherman's Wharf, you took a ferry to Alcatraz and have ridden cable cars half-way to the starts. All of these activities are great, but if you haven't done the Mission District, you have not seen San Francisco. This neighborhood is the birthplace of the city and is the currently the hippest neighborhood of all, with arguably the best restaurant scene. In fact, the entire district seems like it was made for food tours.
