This district is an eclectic mix of old and new, Victorian homes and modern luxury buildings, a bohemian arts vibe mixed with traditional Latin American culture and lately a huge influx of hipsters and tech workers throng the area each evening in search of a great meal at one of the areas famous eateries.

Valencia Street is the main street for dining options in the Mission District. With several restaurants and eateries on each block, the competition is fierce, resulting in some incredible culinary creations. The tour guide did not show up. We were 45 minutes early and waited until 15 minutes after the scheduled departure. We received no notice of delay or change. We texted the contact number and received no response, so we left. Rescinding our payment via our card company.
