Actun Kan Horseback Ride

About this activity
Our location and Nabitunich stone cottages are located on the larger 400-acre land of San Lorenzo Farm. Since this area is within the famous Xunantunich Mayan ruins site, you will see several Mayan ruins excavations and remnants scattered throughout the farm lands. One of these ruins is Actun Kan, a ruin that we have exclusive access to. Still largely covered by vegetation, Actun Kan is hardly excavated, making it a great area to explore. It is also not crowded at all since we are the only tour operators who come here. From Actun Kan, enjoy a stunning view of Guatemala and the nearby Xunantunich ruins. The horseback ride to Actun Kan begins at our stables and includes a ride through the scenic San Lorenzo Farm as well as riding horses through the Mopan river. No previous horseback riding experience is necessary.
