Stop At: Arenal Volcano National Park 21007 Costa Rica

The impressive Arenal Volcano is a magnificent natural wonder that is situated in La Fortuna of San Carlos, Costa Rica. On your way to

Arenal Volcano there will be a stop in the famous town of Sarchi, known as the birthplace of Costa Rica’s Artisans.

In Sarchi, you will see an ox cart known as the largest in the world. The cart is made of wood (cedar) and it is decorated with stunning colors, such as a bright orange. The design is typical and intricate, indicative of traditional oxcarts.

The journey will then continue, going through plantations with agricultural products, including pineapple farms, and mango groves, ornamental plants and cattle ranches until arriving to the small town of La Fortuna. You will stop to enjoy lunch at a cozy restaurant with a spectacular view of the Arenal volcano.

Stop At: Baldi Hot Springs, Ruta 142, Arenal Volcano National Park, La Fortuna de San Carlos Costa Rica

After that you will go on to relax at one of the best hot springs in the area where you will enjoy the rejuvenating effects of the thermal waters. As well as an optional, not included, massage or other special treatment that must be reserved ahead. Before going back to San José, a wonderful dinner will be served with a great view of the volcano.

This trip was such an amazing experience, from the time of pick up to the time of drop off everything ran smoothly. The lunch and dinner that was provided was extremely well prepared and presented. The hot springs was amazing! good mixture of family friendly environment as well for singles/couples. Planning to go again next time I come to Costa Rica. In the resort Baldi Hot Springs they provided showers, changing rooms, and as well as towels you just have to leave a deposit of 5,000 Colones10.00 for each towel and they'll will give you a receipt. Once you're done with the towel make sure you return it with the receipt and they'll refund you the money you gave for the towels. Make sure you bring a bathing suit! someone in our trip wasn't aware and had to buy one in order to get into the multiple hot springs they have all over the resort. This trip is a MUST do !

This tour was worth the money. Just make sure you do not have Marten or Ricardo as your guides. They will leave you behind thinking a joke, but you will not have your passport or any money when they drive down the road. Beware of the corny KNOCK KNOCK you will get tired of this quickly. However the places you go to are amazing! At volcano take a walking stick, to the top.
