The Church of Orosi, also known as the Colonial Church of Orosi or Church of San José de Orosi, is a Catholic Christian church and parish located in the district of Orosi, belonging to the canton of Paradise of Carthage, in Costa Rica. It is one of the oldest buildings in the country, dating from the time of the Spanish Colony, which persist until today. It was built in 1767 by Franciscan friars, and is dedicated to San José. In the former convent of the friars, a museum of religious art is currently located. Since 1920 it is a historical-architectural heritage of Costa Rica, and in 1985, it was declared a National Monument.

The Orosí viewpoint is only 5 km from the center of Orosí. This beautiful natural site offers a beautiful view of the valley and the Rio Grande. It is the ideal place to make stunning photographs of the Orosí Valley in all its splendor.

The Orosí viewpoint area is an excellent option for a family day enjoying the fresh air in the countryside. In addition, it has all kinds of facilities that will make the visit more comfortable: sanitary services, drinking water, playground, green areas, picnic tables, grills, etc. All the facilities and spaces of the viewpoint have adequate spaces so that people with disabilities can move without problem.
