Rock Climbing

The Surf Ranch rock climbing wall is the first in Nicaragua. Although we are the first and only in Nicaragua, we kept our rates very low at only $10 per person. The wall is 24 ft high and 32 ft wide, with 3 different sections. 1 section is a flat wall, the 2nd section is a gradual overhang incline and the 3rd section slopes in then back out half way through. We have routes available for everyone from beginners to pros. We have an onsite rockclimbing shop where you will get geared up with a harness, shoes, helmet, and other accessories before going through a quick training brief. Then you will start climbing while our professional belayers spot you while you climb. The best time to rockclimb is in the morning, late afternoon or at night, as the sun is very hot during the day, however people are climbing throughout the day, then cooling off in the pool in between climbs.
