This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Junin De Los Andes
We will leave San Martin early in the morning by Route 40 to Junin de los Andes, doing several stops along the way looking for Patagonian steppe endemics and several raptors like black-chested buzzard eagle, red-backed hawk and southern crested caracara.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Puente La Rinconada
After passing by Junin de los Andes we will continue to La Rinconada, stopping on the lagoons on the side of the road and on a viewpoint where we will look for Andean condors.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Salida de Pesca
After crossing Collon Cura River we will follow its course with several stops to see upland geese, Chilean flamingo, two-banded plover, coscoroba swan and several species of ducks and coots. On the reeds we will look for the many-colored rush-tyrant, wren-like rushbird and yellow-winged blackbird. After a picnic by the river we will take a dirt road that goes through the steppe. There we can see guanacos, lesser rheas and several earthcreepers and canasteros.
