Camino de los Siete Lagos is a section of National Route 40 in the province of Neuquén.
The section joins the towns of San Martin de los Andes and Villa La Angostura and owes its name to seven lakes during its route.
It has a length of approximately 107 km where you can appreciate the typical characteristics of the Patagonian Andes region: extensive forests, snowy hills and lakes.
This road crosses two national parks: the Lanín and the Nahuel Huapi.
The lakes that give name to the road, in order from San Martin de los Andes to Villa la Angostura, are: Lácar, Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Lago Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, Nahuel Huapi, although this last lake is not part of the "7 lakes".

Villa La Angostura is a city located in the department of Los Lagos, in the south of the province of Neuquén in Patagonia.
Located in the northern sector of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, surrounded by lakes, forests and mountains, it is considered one of the most beautiful towns in the Andean Patagonia, earning the nickname "Garden of Patagonia"

The El Messidor Residence is a small French-style castle, surrounded by gardens, located meters away from the Nahuel Huapí Lake, in the historic center of Villa La Angostura. It was built by architect Alejandro Bustillo in 1942 at the request of Mrs. Sara Log of Demaría. Its name refers to the tenth month of the year in the old French calendar that had established the French Revolution and means a month of gold in allusion to the spikes that radiate a golden tone at that time of year. It was purchased by the Province of Neuquén in 1964 for official residence of the provincial governor and has received the visit of local and foreign personalities.

Puerto Manzano has a perfect location for those who like fishing, skiing, water sports, mountain biking and others.
