Experience traveling to the Mayan Underworld or Mayan hell, ” Xibalba” as it was known to the ancient Mayas. This tour takes you on a nature trail where your guide will tell you about the medicinal plants and various trees that were used by the Mayas and are still used today by the modern day Mayas. Smell the Copal which the Mayas used for their rituals in the form of incense that was burnt to attract the attention of their Gods. You will hike for 45 minutes arriving to the entrance of the cave where your guide will let you know of the safety procedures. Butts up!!! There are rapids as you go into the cave and as you exit the cave. This is an excellent tour that will have you asking for more and keep you in awe and wonder.
