Hol Chan Marine Reserve And Shark Ray Alley

Take a trip to the protected Hol Chan Marine Reserve and its famous Shark Ray Alley, where you can swim with nurse sharks and friendly stingrays. Occasionally you may even see loggerhead turtles. The sites are located about three miles from San Pedro Town, out on the reef. It's a 30-minute boat ride each way, and once there, you have approximately 2 hours of snorkeling. The total time on this tour is 3 to 3.5 hours. Non-snorkelers can watch the fish, sharks and stingrays from the glass in the boat, or from the side of the boat. They can also swim by the boat at Hol Chan where the water is waist deep or sunbathe on the top of the boat.
