Eco Tour: The Emerald of America

Enjoy a city tour through “Alegria”, the birthplace of Alberto Masferrer (a Salvadoran essayist, fiction writer and journalist, best known for the development of the philosophy of Vitalism). Explore the city museum, picturesque church in the center of town and a museum near the park. Later, visit Tecapa Volcano Crater where the famous Lagoon of Alegria can be found (better known as “The Emerald of America”). The best time to visit the lagoon is in winter periods.
