The guide was very knowledgeable and had to provide both English and Spanish comments. Would of loved to seen the trains but not on the agenda. It would of also been great if we had choice for lunch. Lovely views but very expensive. I paid 35 Australian dollars for fish and chips and a drink. You need to be given choice for lunch.
We were disappointed at the brief amount of time spent in Valparaiso. We would have preferred more time there and less in Via Del Mar. The drive back was in very heavy stop and go traffic. It took an hour to go about 5 km in Santiago..
If you're in Valparaíso to see the Ascensor see tour pic and the colourful UNESCO neighbourhood, then this tour is not for you. To be truthful, this tour took us to the city sights of Valparaíso with a drive up to the upper levels and views of the city, but no time was given to ride the Ascensor nor to walk around the colourful neighbourhood. Otherwise still a great tour to the sights of Viña del Mar and an unique spot for lunch with great seafood!
