We had a great day at Valparaiso. Nice tour to introduce you to the area and our guide, Frank (not pancho,
The tour was fantastic, thanks to the guide Francisca. She spoke excellent English and very knowledgeable, so we had no problem. The group we were with was also fantastic.
Great day-trip with Frank and Juan! Frank speaks perfect English and is very engaging and knowledgeable about history, culture, wine-making, and other aspects covered by the tour. Juan is a safe and reliable driver. We made several stops and there were some nice surprises at each stop. At the end of the tour, we had the option to either be dropped off at our origin point or take Frank’s recommendation of a gastropub in Santiago for some apps and cerveza… umm, yeah! Thank you both, Frank and Juan!
Had originally planned to go to Valparaiso on our own but chose this tour and we were very pleased. Fernando and Hector make a great team, and we also were impressed with our expert canine escort as well ☺️. Pleasant mix of shopping, visiting historical and cultural sights, dining and wine tasting. Heartily recommend this tour.
What a beautiful place! Viator tour guide was absolutely fantastic!, The views, street art, people and food were amazing! It's a place that must be on everyone's bucket list!
My husband and I totally enjoyed everything in this tour. The guide Frank and driver Jimmy were knowledgeable with outgoing friendly personalities. We will reccomend this tour to the visitors of Chile.
Our guide Fernanda was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting information not only about Valparaiso and Viña del Mar but about Chile in general and it’s people. My favourite part of the tour was walking around Valparaiso and seeing all the murals and seeing the seals at the Fish Market.
Everything was great! The tour guide, the driver, the experience and the food and wine! I would definitely recommend.
We loved the tour. The guide Jaime was excellent. He has a big knowledge of the country, the cities and the history. That was the best part. He showed us more than we were waiting. He speaks besides Spanish, English and has a good communication in Portuguese, our language. We booked another tour with Jaime in the next day around Santiago because we liked so much Jaime's work. We recommend for sure Jaime´s tour by Viator
Despite a rainy day, had a great time visiting Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. Tour guide and driver were great. Love the street art in Valparaiso and all the sweet stray dogs!
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip, we saw a lot and got a full day of activities. The guide Frank was courteous, incredibly knowledgeable and great company. The driver was very safe, brilliant on the roads and a real character. I particularly enjoyed Valparaiso and the walking tour was a highlight, seeing all the street art and learning about the town. The choice of rstaurant for lunch was good and a nice touch visiting the vineyard at the end. Overall very pleased and had a good group too.
Tour was awesome. Francisco and Hector were great. Francisco had amazing knowledge of Chile and Valparaíso. He knew Valparaíso like the back of his hand and took us to all the best spots. Highly recommend if your in Santiago for a couple of days.
Everything was great! The transportation was comfortable. The driver and the guide were accommodating and friendly. The guide knows a lot of things about Chile, so I learnt a lot from her. I do recommend you to take a jacket as it could be cold near the sea.
Nice to spent time in Valparaiso-enjoying the narrow artstreets on the hills. Fishmarket with sea lions, lunch time and vine tasting. Muchael was very well prepared with history and social knowledge. It was good!
Enjoyed the seaside visit. Had a great meal in a nice restaurant. Enjoyed the city tour and all the street art. Very colorful. Also enjoyed the Funicular ride back down to the bus. Met a lot of interesting people also doing the tour.
Sebastian was a wonderful guide with good English and a pleasant and knowledgeable style. I could have spent many more hours wandering the streets of Valparaiso. A windscreen tour of Val de mar was all that was needed. Quick stop at the Mato was interesting. The only disappointment with an excellent tour was the lunch which although adequate food took a long time and for an Australian relatively expensive (price not included in tour). I would have preferred the option of not having the sit down lunch and exploring more of the streets.
If you do not know much about Santiago and the surrounding area then this tour to Valparaiso is an amazing way of appreciating two of Chile’s cities. Jaime was excellent as our guide and Carlos was a very competent and friendly driver. Our lunch at Mirador in Valparaíso was delicious and having only 8 people on this tour made the day quite interesting and delightful. This is a must do tour!!
This tour gave us a great overview of Valparaíso. Michael was a great guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip, lunch and wine stop in the Casablanca Valley. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
A very informative day. Great guide and driver. The walk in Valparaiso was superb and a vinery on our way home a lovely touch. Marian O’Keeffe
Right away we knew this would be a wonderful tour! The pick-up was easy, and Hector came to get us right from our AirBnB. Our guide, Alexandra, was full of interesting information and kept us entertained all day. The tour was the perfect mix of Chile's history and current climate- we even saw the President while walking around Valparaiso! The wine tasting was the perfect way to end the day, thank you for a wonderful tour!
