Stop At: Megalochori - Traditional Village, Megalochori Greece

The tour starts late in the morning by picking you up from your hotel. After a short drive the small group will reach the traditional village of Megalochori and you will have the opportunity to visit the famous “symposion by la ponta” an amazing workshop of traditional Greek music instruments full of information about Greek mythology and music.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Castelli of Emporio, Emporio Greece

Continue to Emporio village, stroll around the small picturesque streets and see the best preserved Venetian castle which used to be the medieval trade center of the island. Leaving Emporio you will have some free time to relax and enjoy a lazy break at the most famous black sandy beach of the island at Perivolos, where you can swim or even have lunch, tasting the local flavors.

Stop At: Castelli of Pyrgos, Pyrgos 84701 Greece

Later, the group will drive around the castle of Akrotiri and will have a short photo stop to enjoy the view of the castle the amazing caldera from the south part of the island. Afterward you will visit the village of Pyrgos which is built on the top of a hill, you will walk to the top where the Venetian castle overlooks the caldera and get a panoramic view of the island. After the walk to the castle you will relax in an old canava and taste local wines.

Stop At: Oia's Main Street, Greece

ubsequently, the group will make a short stop in Firostefani, where you can take breathtaking photos of the famous Blue Dome and the Rock Of Skaros, where the capital of the island used to be during the Venetian period. The tour will finish in Oia village. Explore the narrow passageways and discover the old captain’s houses, the unique cave houses, and the romantic chapels. Later you will watch the spectacular sunset over the caldera while being inside the Venetian castle of Oia. After such a lovely day you will be driven back to your hotel.

This tour was truly amazing. Our your guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Seeing all of the different villages was amazing. Watching the sunset on the last stop was breathtaking. They company was super helpful by picking me up and dropping me off at the airport in place of a hotel.

This tour was fantastic! An all day adventure. The stop at the mythical music workshop was so interesting and fun! The winery was lovely. Lunch was delicious. And the sunset at Oia was a nice way to end our trip to the island. We even hung out and had dinner after the tour. Really lovely little company, knowledgeable and attentive guide, comfortable transport. I only wish we had done this earlier in our vacation. I highly recommend this tour!

Loved this tour!!!The tour will take you not only to mostly local villages so you can see how the locals live, but also to Oia village where you will enjoy the most amazing sunset. Both tour guides are outgoing and friendly and will provide you with a lot of interesting information about the island.

We were traveling with a very large tour company for the Greek portion of our trip, but decided to change things up and go with a local company while in Santorini. We are so glad we did as we absolutely loved this tour. Pick up was right on time, and in a very comfortable Mercedes-Benz van. Gregory was very accommodating and gave us great insight into the history of Santorini and local life in general. The music symposium was one of the highlights of our entire visit. While you need to be prepared to do some uphill walking to see some of the more interesting sights, it is so worth it.

Highly recommended. Tour provided a great overview of Santorini including many locations unaffected by tourist development. Guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Mini bus was very comfortable.

Although it was not a high season and many stores were closed, our tour guide did his best and had a wonderful experience in the tour. Venetian castles looked great and the guide shared plenty of information for the ancient , medieval and modern history of the island and Greece.
