About this activity
Explore Santorini by daylight or sunset, in style and comfort, aboard Dream Catcher. Relax, sit back, and set sail through the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea aboard our 62-foot (18.9-m) sailing catamaran, with a group of approximately 30 passengers. There is no better way to enjoy a comprehensive tour of the Caldera and the south side of Santorini. Lay out on the nets in front or stay protected from the sun under the large shaded area, as you enjoy the breathtaking views of Santorini from the Sea.
We visit the picturesque Red and White Beaches, stopping at one for a swim then continue on past the Indian Head Mountain and the Old Venetian Lighthouse, into the crater. We pass through the volcanic islands in the caldera, Palea & Nea Kameni and go for a dip in the warm waters of the Hot Springs before enjoying a mouthwatering, freshly prepared BBQ on board with a variety of Greek delicacies.
Your lunch/dinner includes marinated grilled chicken, steak, our famous (Captain Ted's) rigatoni saganaki as seen on the Food Network, Greek salad, home made eggplant salad, baked fresh local vegetables and tzatziki which is also freshly made on board in our cooking demonstration!
Sail towards the main island in the caldera, Therasia, and see its rocks made from cooled lava. Go for a swim in the warm waters of the hot springs before a barbecue meal is served onboard. Your meal includes marinated grilled chicken or lamb, penne saganaki, Greek salad, potato, eggplant, and tzatziki salad.

I've been on quite a few catamaran tours but this was by far the best. The service, the layout of the craft and the food were beyond. Upon entering you are given a table for your party to sit at, which is quite different than other catamarans I've been on. This is great because you can sit together with everyone you came with, but still feel like you're able to meet new people. The crew were very friendly, helpful and encouraging. My mom does not know how to swim and entered the water with a life jacket on. She was extremely nervous and the crewman who helped her down the stairs was kind and gentle the entire time, even going so far as to tell others "if she's not comfortable don't force her: and holding her hand. And the food! SO GOOD! I was prepared for the sunset dinner to be light fare, and maybe not top notch. But they grilled the meat while we were sailing, and everything was presented with such care and attention to detail. DELICIOUS. Easily one of the best meals we had while in Santorini. And last but not least, the sunset view was amazing. totally unobstructed view of the sunset while on the water in the caldera - PRICELESS. Would highly recommend this company and this sunset tour, you will not regret it.
This cruise was a highlight of our trip. The crew was accommodating, the catamaran was luxurious and the food was terrific. You can’t go to Santorini without doing this cruise.
Catamaran was great, food was fantastic and beers cold, crew were also fantastic. Great afternoon swimming, sailing eating and drinking.
Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. All you can drink beer was a winner. Food was spot on and plenty of it. Thank you very much captain ted and your team. Brilliant!
My husband and I looked for the perfect catamaran cruise during our stay in Santorini, and this one delivered on everything it said it would. The crew was great, the drinks, food, and other people on board really made it the an amazing experience. We would absolutely do it again if we could, it was one of our favorite things we did while in Santorini.
Excellent tour. The pickup came as promised. Little minivan until the catamaran boarding. The crew is very nice and proffesional, the food is tasty, the chicken bit dry. There is a lot of shade in the ship, snorkeling equipments and free drinks. We had great time, very recommended.
We took the sunset Dream Catcher cruise as our last hurrah in Santorini. It was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation. The catamaran was big and comfortable with very clean bathrooms! And Captain Ted was an amazing host. You sail around the Caldera and the different islands very close to Santorini. At every stop, Captain Ted gives you a brief historical overview. The boat stops several times for swimming, including the hot springs and that's where the crew serves an amazing dinner of wonderful Greek food with unlimited beer, wine, water, and soda. Usually I'm not a fan of organized trips on vacation, but I'm glad we made an exception for the Dream Catcher. Please leave a tip for the crew at the end, they work hard!
Beautiful way to watch the sunset. I wish the swim stops were the first thing we did though because it got cold once the sun went down. Otherwise, the crew were kind and attentive.
