Rappelling Down the Ramon Crater Cliff

Located by the Nature Reserve Authority’s visitor center, the rappelling site is easy to accesses by car or foot, where from any hotel in town it is no longer than 10-15 minutes’ walk. You will meet us onsite ready for your arrival with all the gear set and organized. The site is on the Ramon crater cliff edge, one of the most beautiful places to rappel in Israel, where dramatic desert landscape stretches below and as far as the eye can see. After an introduction to our well experienced and friendly guides, you will get a short safety group briefing. You will then be assisted with gearing up and ready to safely start descending. One by one you could go down the cliff while encouraging each other and take great pictures if you’d like. The descend time for a small family is usually 1.5-2 hours. While going down the cliff you will get personal guldens from the guides on the top of the cliff. The guides can see and hear you all the way down and will communicate you through the descend. The way back up again is an easy 2 minutes stroll and you will be back where we started.
