According your private tour pick up time, guide and the driver will meet you at Kusadasi Port / Hotels with a sign your name written on and transfer us to Ephesus, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven churches of Revelation. We learn its history from our expert local guide and walk on the remarkably preserved wide marble streets, flanked by colomns, temples and fountains. We look at all the famous highlights like the, Celsus Library, Harbour Street, Agora, Fountain of Trajan, stream baths of scholastic, Temple of Domitian, Great Theater which is stil used for performances and special events today.
Next;Terrace Houses which From the time of Augustus, these dwellings of wealthy Ephesians, were decorated with beautiful frescoes and mosaics. The houses had luxurious bedrooms, bathrooms, triclinium and kitchens.Archeologisit have been excavating 7 houses owned by the richest Ephesians.These were high ranking officers,govemors and rich trades man.House of Virgin Mary; including scenic views of the Byzantine fortress in Selcuk and the temple of artemis. A long and winding road affords wonderfull views of the valley en route to the shrine of st Mary. The diminutive house, beautifully situated in the solmissos Mountains is considered by the vatican to be final resting place of the Virgin Mary

We have used Viator many times in the past but our friends had not and were sooo impressed. Ephesus was an amazing tour and a huge surprise as we had not heard of it before. Our guide was outstanding...the best. Enthousiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the area and Ephesus proper. It was a private tour, just four of us and this was a great decision. Our guide customized our trip and was open to our suggestions, but we trusted her and went with her suggestions of what was worthwhile to see as well as where to have lunch. .She did not disappoint and was wonderful. We all loved her. The Virgin Mary House was the most beautiful surprise and a must stop. Ephesus, however, was the highlight of our cruise. Soo glad we got to see this fabulous historic site,! Better than Pompeii ! So glad our cruise stopped in Kusadasi , Turkey or we would have missed a gem and Turkey. Our tour guide and driver were the icing on the cake. One of our party could not make it up the Terrace Houses, but the guide was so attentive to his situation and he waited in the shade while we saw these phenomenal excavations. Would recommend this tour to anyone!!!!!!
