Day Trip from Seoul: Wine Foot Spa and Korean Traditional Music Experience Including Lunch

After pick up from downtown Seoul (3 subway stations, Hongik Univ., Meyongdong, Dongdaemun History & Culture Park), we will visit Yeongdonggun about 2.5 hours away from Seoul. Yeongdonggun is famous for the place where Nangye Park Yeon, a brilliant musician and music theorist in the early Joseon period, was born. So it provides tourists with various music experience. This area is also famous for grape so that there is the biggest winery in Korea, Wine Korea.

We will start with a wine foot spa in Wine Korea and then visit Chupungyeong deer farm. After enjoying your bibimbap lunch, we will visit Yeong Dong Korean Classical Music Experience Village. You will make a Janggu and enjoy Korean traditional music performance. The Janggu is the most representative traditional drum in Korea. It consists of an hourglass shaped body with two heads made from animal skin. The two heads produce sounds of different pitch and timbre which when played together are believed to represent the harmony of man and woman. 

Instead of making Janggu, you may experience Nanta. While beating drums to the rhythm, you will release your stress.

Lastly, each of tourists will have a chance to beat the biggest drum in the world, Chungo as a Guinness Book of Records. According to the legend, if beating this Chungo 3 times, the one's wish will be realized. The tour will end with return to the Seoul.
