About this activity
After pickup from your Seoul hotel in the afternoon, you’ll be taken south to the Gangnam District of Southern Seoul. Your first stop is the COEX Aquarium, one of South Korea's largest aquariums featuring more than 40,000 animals. Follow your guide through the aquarium and experience 90 exhibition tanks grouped in 14 ‘discover zones,’ including six themed areas. You’ll be amazed by the 600 species of fish!
After your aquarium tour, you’ll be taken to the Han River for a relaxing cruise -- the best way to view Seoul’s bustling riverfront areas. Enjoy music and views of the waterfront buildings glistening on the water as you pass under many of the city’s 27 bridges and spot landmarks such as the Seoul Olympic Stadium.
Your Han River cruise is followed by a visit to Bongeunsa, a Buddhist temple offering a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Explore the temple’s shrines and halls with your guide and see its decorative symbols and artwork representing Buddhist principles and ideas.
Soak up the calm atmosphere here, as well as great views of Gangnam, before stopping by the Ginseng Center and being driven back to your hotel.

Our guide, Sung Bum aka Mickey was very nice, friendly and professional. He took extra good care of us and even got us yogurt drinks on him. COEX aquarium had wonderful sea creatures but dont go on a weekend, too crowded and hot
Picked up right on time, by a lovely tour guide Daria, the afternoon ran according to schedule. The river cruise was quite pleasant , next the temple with the massive statue of Budda with the graduation cap on, the temple surrounds were lovely, and finally across the road to the Aquarium, which was very different to the ones in Australia. Overall a very nice afternoon, Daria was looking out for other members of our tour, always knowing where everyone was, a very happy guide.
Winnie was our guide and she was amazing. She showed us and explained to us everything with enthusiasm and she also took really good care of us while we were with her.
We had an excellent tour guide---Weenie---who I would rate a 5 star. Too bad the same cant be said about the tour. The COEX Aquarium is designed for families with small children. Nearly all of the exhibitions and attractions are aimed at children Not a location for adults who want to see a big city aquarium. Not much to see. Very disappointing. The Han River cruise was all of 15 minutes with no info given by the cruise boat about what we were seeing. Very disappointing. Most of the day was spent in traffic trying to get to these venues.
Tour was good. the guide's English was ok. Would recommend to take it if you have the time.
Very price worthy tour with friendly guide! The driver and guide came and picked us up at the hotel and we drove to the river for the boat trip. The river tour took an hour and it was beautiful, it did show the city form a different view than you get from roaming the city. The temple and aquarium was located next to each other which made it efficient with the 4.5h we had. The temple was tranquil considering it is located in the middle of Gangnam. After the aquarium we got dropped off in Gangnam so that we could continue the tour ourselves. Considering the trip did cost 70 which included: driver, guide, boat ticket and aquarium ticket we recommend this trip!
