About this activity
You will be picked up at 9am from your hotel in Seoul and start the tour by visiting Seoul Tower, which stands on Mt. Namsan in central Seoul. Take the elevator up to the observation deck to enjoy panoramic views of the city. The 236.7 m (777 ft) tower is renowned as a national landmark and attracts thousands of tourists and locals every year, especially during nighttime when the tower lights up. Photographers enjoy the panoramic view the tower offers.
Then, visit Namsangol Hanok Village, also known as "A Village of Traditional Houses in the Namsan Valley", where your guide will show you five hanok, or traditional Korean homes, from the Joseon Dynasty. The restored houses illustrate various social classes, from peasants to royalty. You will also see a traditional Korean garden with an elegant pavilion and stream.
Later, continue to the War Memorial, a unique war history museum. The tour guide will explain about wars in Korea, especially the Korean War (1950-1953). Finally, after a stop in a duty-free shop, the tour will end at Seoul City Hall which is located close to other famous attractions in the city that you can explore on your own after this tour is over.

Very good tour with a very friendly guide whos English was OK. People carrier vehicle with only the 2 of us. Very comfortable with AC. Pick up point was difficult to find and a bit of a walk. Wouldve preferred a pick up nearer our AirBNB which would not have been difficult for them to do. All the sites were covered and were extremely interesting. Lunch was typical Korean cuisine. Highly recommend this tour.
Chloe was knowledgeable and we had great time! Thank you.
Informative and friendly tour guide. I highly recommend this tour.
Our guide Mimi met us promptly at our hotel. We shared a minivan for the tour with a very nice family from the Philippines. First stop was Namsan Hanok Village to see several examples of traditional Korean houses that had been relocated to the site. Mimi provided a nice discussion about a number of the interesting features of the houses. We then went to the Seoul Tower to see the city from the observation deck. It was nice to arrive early in the morning when hardly anyone else was at the tower so we had it practically to ourselves. Our final stop was at the War Memorial which was a very sobering experience given all of the soldiers including a large number of Americans who lost their lives in the Korean war. We only had time to see a limited number of the exhibits, this is a huge war memorial museum and for those with an interest in the historical aspects could easily spend much more time there. Our tour ended at City Hall. Mimi was an excellent guide as she led us through the sites and provided an informative commentary. The tour covers some very interesting sights.
