It was a rocking trip worth every penny. We had Ms. Petra the same guide from Andalsur Tours who had the next day accompanied us on our Granada Day trip an she was as energetic, informative and helpful as ever. We were fortunate to have clear weather though extremely hot and got a very good view of North Africa Coast and Mount Atlas. Crossing an active International Airport on foot is an experience that most would not be able to come across anywhere but here. The St. Michael's Cave is another wonder as well. All in all a picturesque trip that will keep your camera busy.
Gabby was a great tour guide. He had thorough knowledge and good communication skills with the tour group. He made sure everybody was through passport control going in and out of Gibraltar. He clearly set up meeting points in Gibraltar so the tourists could go off on their own. The main town square had cheap eats like pizza and fish and chips to partake in. When you enter and leave Gibraltar you have to walk across an airport runway, we had to wait for a plane taking off. A separate tour company takes you around the island by bus, with good narration by the driver, showing you the siege tunnels, monkeys and military history as well as some great views. You do not get to go to the top by cable car however. To get the most out of a trip to Gibraltar you would probably have to stay there a day or two in order to hike down from the top.
Lovely day trip to Gibraltar. Booked online. Couch comfortable. Everything in time. Professional tour guider
The only enjoyable part of this trip was at the Rock of Gibraltar with a local tour guide from Bland Tours. Our day started out at 8 am at a meeting point in Seville from which we went all over in the bus to pickup every one. We rode for about 2 hours and then stopped at a rest stop for about 1/2 hour. From here we went into town where we had 45 minutes to walk around a lot of tourist shops. THEN we went to a parking garage and waited for 1/2 hour for our tour guide. Once he arrived and took us around to The Rock, the caves, and to see the monkeys, It was very worthwhile and enjoyable however we only had 1/2 hour to explore the cave and see the monkeys.before we met up again to go back to the tourist shopping and back to Seville. So, you pay this expense for each member of your group for about 1.5 hours of good tourism and the rest of the time is wasted. I would look for a better tour should I do it again.
We did not know what to expect in this way, so we had a really exciting and instructive day. Our guide Paul chose us in time with the bus driver. Upon arrival we met another guide wizard who took us all over the island. It was amazing and full of information and history. We visited the cave of St. Michael and I got great pictures there. Gibraltar is amazing and worth a visit!
My family had a wonderful time visiting Gibraltar! We really enjoyed seeing the numerous monkeys close up?
Excellent organisation and was picked up with no problem. The day was well organised and the guide looked after us making sure we knew where to meet. The only problem was the weather which couldn't be helped, but despite, we did see some monkeys! Torrential rain and gale force winds! Thoroughly recommend this trip.
