Bear Glacier 30-Minute Helicopter Flight from Seward

The flight to Bear Glacier, the largest glacier from the Harding Ice Field, is a one-of-a-kind Alaskan experience that should not be missed. Nestled among soaring, snow-covered peaks, the glacier rests above a remote lagoon studded with massive icebergs the size of houses. Your trip to the glacier starts with a short check in at the airfield in Seward. After meeting your pilot, you will go through a short safety orientation before heading to the helicopter. This trip is for groups of 2-6 people and no more due to the carrying capacity of the vehicle, ensuring a small group with personal service. You will be given a headset in order to hear your guide more clearly, and then you will lift off and head out to the scenery surrounding Resurrection Bay. As you fly out of the Seward Airport, snowy mountains will greet you in the distance as you head towards the water and the vast fjords that make up the coastline. From the bay, you will circle the incredible scenery as you take pictures from out of the window. Bear Glacier is the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National park and is absolutely impressive from the air.
