Donghai Bridge, sometimes called East Sea Grand Bridge, it is the first sea-crossing bridge in China, the third longest sea bridge in China and the forth longest sea bridge in the World.
The Donghai Bridge connects the mainland to Yangshan Deep-water Port. The bridge is 32.5 kilometers long, the bridge deck is two-way six-lane expressway. Donghai Bridge is designed into an S-shaped because of the safety issue. Donghai Bridge gets a 100-year service guaranteed with an 80km/h speed limit.

Yangshan Deep Water Port, located close to a chain of islands between the Hangzhou Bay and the mouth of the Yangtze River. A natural and superb deepwater port, it's just 45 nautical miles from international waters and about 27 kilometers away from the Luchao Port in Nanhui District. The Donghai Bridge links the port with Shanghai's network of communication lines and gives it good connections with the economic hinterland of the Yangtze Rive Delta.
It is the largest container port in China and the largest artificial island harbour in the World. Built to circumvent growth limitations for the Port of Shanghai as a result of shallow waters, it allows berths with depths of up to 15 meters to be built, and is capable of handling the largest container ships today.
