About this activity

Meet up in your centrally located hotel lobby at 8:00am, and take a comfortable ride to famous Tongli Water Town (about one hour and 15 minutes). On the road, you will be able to see China's countryside scenery and your guide will share with you about the culture of Southern Yangtze River regions.

Upon arrival Tongli, stroll around the old ally ways and visit the exquisite Retreat & Reflection Garden (Suzhou style garden).

You will enjoy your lunch at a cozy local restaurant, and take a wooden boat ride along the small canal to enjoy the tranquility of the village. Finally, you will enjoy some tea along the riverside, and your guide will share with you some interesting stories about this area.

End of the enriching tour, and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai. If you wish to be dropped off at PVG Pudong International Airport to catch your night flight, please choose the PVG Airport Drop-Off Service tour option upon booking.
