1933 Shanghai----History,Architecture,Lifestyle.

In 1933,this construction was firstly commissioned by the Municipal Committee of Shanghai International Settlement and designed by a noted British architect. The construction of Shanghai slaughterhouse under Municipal Committee was officially completed by a well-known contractor of that time at Shajing Road,Hongkou District of Shanghai.According to historical records,this Slaughterhouse cost 3.3 million silver dollars on construction and equipment in which it applied concrete structure

wholly imported from Britain,walls of 50cm in thickness ans double-layer hollow walls.

Xintiandi------Xintiandi is an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai, China. Xintiandi highlights an area of reconstituted traditional stone gate houses on narrow alleys, some adjoining houses which now serve as book stores, cafes and restaurants, and shopping malls. When you walk into this area, you will get the taste both of Shanghai in the 1920's and the sonic modern lifestyle of urbanites of the 21st century.

Duolun Road----Duolun Road is a famous Chinese historic cultural street,it has some of the Shanghai's best examples of European villas and mansions as well as old Shanghai-style buildings.

Bund-----The Bund shows off Shanghai's outstanding foreign buildings, most of which were erected before 1937.it is the emblem of Shanghai, the area used to be British concession.

Tianzifang--------------whole area is full of local cultural characteristics,especially the Architectures,out side they look very old,old like the building in 1930s old Shanghai,inside various commodities and arts
