Around 6:00 pm, meet your guide at your hotel in Shanghai city center and you will be transferred to the theater for the show. The show starts at 7:30 pm, and finishes at 9:00 pm.

The ERA Acrobatics show is one of Shanghai’s most famous shows, created by leader in the field Erick Villeneuve and under the lead of composer and music director Michel Cusson. It is a meditation on time and a love story told through a spectacular sequence of acrobatic performances guaranteed to leave you enthralled and amazed. After the show you will be transferred back to your hotel.

The acrobatic show was very good, although not absolutely perfect. I have read in some of the comments that It is a better show that Cirque du Soleil, well I have to disagree. It was a very good but not outstanding one - the 2 performances within the program that I will never forget are Space Motorcycles a dangerous and exciting act that really deserved standing applause and Forever acrobats beautiful and delicate dance/acrobatic. I gave 3 stars not because of the quality of the show, but because I experienced serious ticket issues. I have been picked up from a very nice lady in a nice vehicle but the ticket was supposed to be brought to the theater to anot5her one. She was late and was worried she will not make it on time. she finally came without apologizing, and instead of doing everything professionally she was bringing me and some other customers back and forth like she did not know where to go. it was very irritating and I was on the brink of asking for a full refund when she somehow made an upgrade from B or C section tickets to VIP ones. So in the end the problem was solved but still I was very agitated and this took away from the beautiful performance.

It was convenient having a guide and driver collect us to attend the show - as getting a taxi home or train would've been difficult at 9pm, as the theatre is a bit further out from the centre of Shanghai. The communication with the travel agency was excellent we had a local phone number as was the communication with the guide. The agency called as there were no tickets available on the night I selected but we were able to go the following night. The guide contacted us to confirm the location of the hotel and time. She and the driver came to the hotel early and we were at the show early too - better than some groups who came in late. The show was fantastic. The elements of Ka, by Cirque du Soliel, were obviously based on Chinese acrobatic techniques. I highly recommend the experience if you have time and can afford to attend. It was a great experience and the view was still good even while sitting in the cheapest tickets at the front row.
