Your guide will pick you up in the lobby of your Shanghai Hotel at Shanghai city centre. Then you will start your visit discovering the Yuyuan Garden and the Bazaar Area.
The Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden which has existed for more than 400 years. Here you may enjoy the unique architectures as well as the beautiful views in the garden. In the Bazaar you can discover many kinds of local snacks. Then you will follow your guide to visit the Silk factory to see the process of making silk products.

Later on you will visit the French Concession. Under the administration of the French from 1849 to 1946, the French concession today is a pleasant mix of wide tree lined avenues and interesting European style architecture. The area contains many gorgeous art decoration and Tudor style mansions and retains a very European feel despite being in the heart of Shanghai. As the premier residential and retail district of Shanghai, the French concession is replete with boutique shops, charming cafes and exceptional restaurants.

Next is the Huangpu River Night cruise. The Huangpu River divides Shanghai into two parts, east and west, and perhaps some would say, old and new – The elegant and stately Bund on the west and the glitzy and modern Pudong on the east, with its towering skyscrapers of China’s financial and commercial hub. The best way to view both sides of the city, and to fathom its rich history, is to take a cruise along the river and take in the magnificent skyline of Shanghai, both old and new.
Once the cruise finish, your professional guide will drive you back to your hotel in Shanghai.

Great tour with KuanKuan as our guide. This trip was truly one of our favorite days in Shanghai. The pace was great and it was great to be picked up in a comfortable van at each location. We never felt rushed and were able to spend extra time where we wanted.
