All-inclusive Shanghai City Highlights and Zhujiajiao Water Town Combo Day Tour

Meet up your friendly private guide at 9:00am, and begin your tour from The Bund area. Walk along the promenade lined with the gorgeous cluster of British colonial architectures on Puxi (west of river) side of the Huangpu River and meanwhile overlook the breathtaking skyscrapers in Pudong (east of river) across the Huangpu, the last tributary of Yangtze River into East China Sea.

Next, make a short-distance move to Old Town Market with Yu Garden as the highlight. The market looks hilarious but you can't really miss the garden at the center of the market. It's an old residence originally built in middle 16th century and has always been an oasis of tranquility, however more true of that in old days.

Continue your tour in Xintiandi, a chic and characteristic recreated compound in mixed European and Shanghainese style. The significance of Xintiandi comes from its being the site to witness the birth of Communist Party of China.

Lunch will be arranged amidst the tour either in downtown or in the area where you will spend the next hours: Zhujiajiao Water Town (70-minute drive away from Shanghai city center). It is rustic and fun, like Venice but older. Through Zhujiajiao, you get to see Shanghai people's life in the city just decades ago and what Shanghai was like hundreds of years ago as a fishing town. It's the root of Shanghai.

The tour itinerary might be swapped based on the weather on the travel day, and you might visit Zhujiajiao in the morning instead.

After your tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
