In the morning, meet your friendly and informative tour guide in your hotel lobby (downtown area) and transfer to Wuzhen.

Wuzhen Water Town, in the northern part of Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province, is a typical ancient town in southern China. A crisscrossing river divides the whole town into four scenic sections, which are respectively called Dongzha, Nanzha, Xizha, and Beizha by local people. You will visit Dongzha this time. Dongzha maintains the basic original layout. You will visit the Museum of Folk Customs in the Southern Yangtze River Region, the former residence of Mao Dun, and other interesting places. Then, you will take a relaxing boat ride along the canals to see more of this ancient Jiangnan town.

At noon, you will enjoy a traditional lunch in Wuzhen.

After lunch, you will go back to Shanghai and visit must-see attractions such as the former French Concession, Xintiandi, the Bund, Nanjing Road, and the night view of Shanghai Old Street.

The Bund is the famous waterfront on the west bank of the Huangpu River and is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund.

Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Xintiandi is divided into northern and southern parts. The south is dominated by modern architecture, with an old Shikumen building as a supplement. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Here, there is a collection of unique businesses from around the world. It was also the site of the first congress of the Communist Party.

Walking into Shanghai Old Street, you seem to be back in the bustling market of Shanghai 100 years ago. Here is the original important place in Shanghai for foreign and small commodity trade, which witnessed the economic and social development of Shanghai. It is home to some of the most ancient structures in Shanghai, including small portions of the old city wall. The former French Concession and Yu Garden can also be found nearby.
