Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall was built to show the achievement of the city planning and construction. The main body of the building covers Shanghai's development from ancient times to the present and beyond. There is a city model made in a scale of 1/500, total 600 square meters, the largest in the world.

The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. The story of a shikumen family runs through the whole visit. It not only shows the unique shikumen architectural culture of Shanghai, but also reproduces the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people in those days.
Nowadays, the museum is a good place for us to cherish the memory of old Shanghai and trace the historical memory.
