I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our Shanghai Luxury dinner and nightlife experience. Our guide Simon was fantastic!!! He thought of EVERYTHING and fit right in with our group of 14. The band at Peace Hotel were a bit older than we expected, but when we hooped and hollered after each song, they tried to pick it up a bit and it was great seeing the gentlemen bathing in our applause. The dinner at Lost Heaven was “Heavenly”, it was a delicious change from the daily food we had been eating. For the cherry on top of an exquisite night. Bar Rouge was exciting and provocative. It was like a secret spot and we felt like VIP guests. Not overly crowded like it would be in Atlanta. The view is literally breathtaking!!!! Simon helped us to secure a seated area solely for our group which was fantastic! He also stayed with us the entire night which he didn’t have to do. I can’t speak highly enough of Simon, this tour is a must do if you’re ever in Shanghai.
Great tour, excellent food and restaurant and simon was a great guide with a lot of knowledge of the area. After the fantastic jazz band you have the opportunity of know the nocturnal life with fantastic views of the river from bar tops.
Simon greeted us w/ genuine hospitality and deep knowledge about SH! My boss loves jazzz. Simon was most thoughtful to arrange for him to speak with the jazz musicians at the Peace Hotel. Great dinner at Lost Heaven - Presentation and taste were exquisite! I will book Simon again for next trip!
Simon was a fantastic guide and crafted a great evening out! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the Shanghai nightlife, but wants avoid the complications of trying to communicate in Mandarin, make reservations, and pay entrance fees. In addition to Simon having excellent taste in venues/ restaurants, he was an amazing conversationalist and filled our evening with great stories and interesting historical facts. We had such a wonderful night and would absolutely do it again!
