Our guide and driver will pick you up at 09:00 in the hotel lobby, drive to Tongli Water.Tongli is an age-old but very well preserved water town with a history of more than 1,000 years.It is about 1.5hour driving.

Tongli is a town with a profound cultural background and achievement. From ancient times, it has been teeming with poets, painters, Confucian scholars and government officials.These are the vital links between the different parts of town. Forty-nine stone bridges in a variety of styles join the seven islands created by fifteen rivers and five lakes upon which Tongli Town stands.

Tuisi Garden(Retreat and Reflection Garden)is a must for tourists.Built by the retired official Ren Lansheng from 1885 to 1887,Tuisi Garden is the most spectacular in the town.Its name is derived from an aphorism expressed in a very famous biography called Zuo Zhuan written by Zuo Qiuming in the Eastern Zhou period (770 BC-221 BC): 'Be loyal to the emperor when in officialdom; be meditative upon the previous faults while away from officialdom'. Compact and harmonious, the garden is in two parts. The residential area in the west consists of an outer house and an inner house including the sedan hall, the tea hall, a main reception hall and two buildings forming the actual dwelling. The garden in the east has ponds, marble boats, waterside pavilions, halls, kiosks, verandas, rockeries and bridges.

In afternoon,you will visit Tiger Hill.is a large hillock covering about 3.5 acres (14,100 square metres) and only 118 feet (36 metres) in height. Climbing it, you will find a number of historical sites some of which can be traced back over 2,500 years to the founding of Suzhou.The hill is relatively small it has rich history.

The Master of Nets Garden (Wang Shi Yuan).It is the smallest of the Suzhou residential gardens, yet it is the most impressive because of its use of space which creates the illusion of an area that is much greater than its actual size. Even more than the architectural achievement is the mood of tranquility and harmony that it embodies.
